Babies in Bloom!

Beautiful baby girls wear flowers so well!! Thanks to my moms for sharing your photographs with us! They are absolutely precious, and we are honored to have them model our blooms! (they do it SO well)

WILD flowers!

I got a fun special request from a dance troupe for some zebra flowers and I love how they turned out. I think I may need to make a matching pair for my girls!

So, I finally got some glitter spray to try out on flowers...and I am hooked! This stuff is wonderful...you can spray it on ANYthing and it looks amazing. It's better in real life, but check these out. It was originally for a black flower special order but I was delighted by how sweet it makes the pastels...they really POP- great for spring!

My flowers took a trip...

My sweet girlfriends, Jacque and Ami, took a trip to Hawaii and placed a special order for some bright, "grown up" hawaiian flowers especially for their trip. They were so cute about it, they planned out all their little dresses to match the flowers. It was so much fun to make them, and even more fun to see them worn on their beautiful little heads.

My Flower Child

Here are pics of my little flower child all decked out in Lee Anne's creation...it may be a little big for my tiny one but there's no denying it's charm! I personally love the floor length look...

We LOVE fabric, and the beautiful little things a few scraps and a little creativity can produce! Here are some new items fresh out of the studio (that is my living room). These, and many other items like these, will be available for sale at our Open House on the 16th. Check back with us often...we're always up to something new!

I'd like to take a moment now to recognize Lee Anne's paramount moment this evening...her first Flower Child dress was born! Isn't it adorable?!!

For the flower babies...

People have been asking what we have for the tiny ones...so here you go! We offer soft stretchy crochet-like headbands in various colors. Any clip flower can be planted on them, and these work for big girls too, but are especially wonderful on tiny heads. :)

We also offer tiny handmade clips Alyssa has named "sweet peas." These sell individually, as pairs, or even by the dozen! And don't forget, we always take special orders to match an outfit perfectly!

There's absolutely no reason why flowers should be reserved only for our little ones! I think the most beautiful flowers are created from a mixture of textures...metals, beads, soft petals, pearls, even old clip on earrings! Get creative! These clips look amazing on a bag or purse, your favorite blouse, or the belt of a skirt or dress!

Let us know if you see something you can't live without. ;) All of our creations are equipped with alligator clips, making it easy to "plant" your flower on whichever home you desire (headbands, hair, purses, flipflops, shirts, jacket lapels, etc.) Don't be shy! Our creations are appropriate for all ages; just channel your inner flower child--we did!

Ok, so we have been indulging our creativeness and these are the fruits of our labor:

We have been using all sorts of mediums to create these beauties: flowers, jewels, felt, lace, fabric, buttons...you name it and we've probably tried it. Just read on for more fun!

Alyssa was so proud of this one. She used a felt background with embroidery elements, ribbon petals, and a great color-coordinated button to top it off. I have named this one "The Alyssa."








This flower rosette is my pride and joy. I love the fabric with it's green, red, and black foral print with a white background. It turned out way better than I anticipated! Alyssa named this one "The LeeAnne."
